I think we can find time for what we want to do the most. There are different days and life situations.. but in the long term. If something is your passion or your first priority you will find time for that. ? In real life someone asked me how do I have time and energy to cook healthy food from scratch or do sports almost every day. Those things give me a lot of energy and good feeling. So I think that I actually gain some time because I end up being much more productive for the day. ? But yes, I don't have children. I have more time obviously than parents but however we can always choose to do something different and take even only 15 minutes for yoga. Or something else that you like. Maybe not everyday but most of days. ? For example I never watch tv. People watch tv many hours a day on average. Nowadays people spend a huge amount of time on social media too... If you don't use your time in these two things and still feel that you don't have enough time for yourself, I recommend to think about if you could eliminate something less important and unnecessary in your life?! ? It took time for me to learn to say no to people. It's still difficult sometimes but now I have more time for those people, tasks and works that I really care about. ? Feeling that I'm too busy is still a challenge for me some days but I have realized that if you think and complain about how much you have to do, you really waste your energy and start feeling bad and stressed. Planning days in advance help me so much to organize everything and when I write down my to do-list and the times, I'm much more productive and I have more free time also. ? Life shouldn't be about performing but I think it's very important to take more time for what we really love to do and some times it requires organizing. ?
Enthusiasm is the best feeling that I know. It's like falling in love... I'm not hungry anymore, I need less sleep and loose the sense of time. I'm more present in the moment, my focus is brilliant and the flow just continues. I feel happy. Henry Ford has said "You can do anything if you have enthusiasm." I agree. ? I totally believe that enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines for success. For me enthusiasm means that I know myself too. That I'm honest for myself and do what my heart says. You can't force yourself to get inspired... You can help it but something is still missing if you try to force inspiration. I always recommend people to follow their passion if they have one. It's a gift. And we can learn our passion if we listen to our heart. ? One thing that I like about myself is that I can be so so enthusiastic. And if I have passion for something, nothing is going to stop me. But there is another side.. I really need some passion for my happiness. If I lose my enthusiasm I feel like I lose a part of myself too. Because I get my energy from expressing myself the way I love. ? I have written that there have been times when I haven't known what is my next step, my goal, my dream? Where would I put my interest and creativity? Nothing inspired me enough... ? But then it just comes in your mind! Everything clicks together. And I love it, I love when I have a vision that makes me jump up from my bed in the morning. I'm so grateful that now I have my own mission... ? Have you ever felt this way? ?
I picked a few popular questions that you have asked me...? ? How do you take care of your body? ? I always listen to my body because I think it tells me what it needs. I eat very healthy, unprosessed and clean food but I'm also flexible in what I eat. My meals are mostly plant based and gluten-free. I haven't eaten meat at all for the last 4 months and I've avoided dairy products and white sugar for many years.. I love food very much, I never count calories or weight myself. . I really love to practice all kinds of sports and besides yoga I mostly go to the gym and do some running at the moment. Some weeks I train everyday and some weeks less. Being active is my lifestyle but I never stress about my training. I also try to rest and sleep enough. ? Why haven't you revealed your identity yet? ? It's not about who but it's about my account's message and what it stands for.?
My weekly question this week was – Do you love your body? ? Thank you for your 429 comments. It was really interesting to read your answers and I can identify with many of them. Love is a big word so I if you answered NO, I hope you can however appreciate and respect your body and feel like @mcrobi01: ”I don´t know if I love my body, but we are pretty good friends. We hang out a lot.” ? That's so true because we have just our own body and a good relationship with it can make life so much better. Our soul lives in that place and that's one reason more to love our bodies. @anotherasiangurl wrote wisely ”--It's the union of art and science that is unique to me--” ? If you think about your body just in a materialistic way, it's easy to be unsatisfied with it in this society.. But the point is that when you stop thinking about outlooks and instead think about how your body feels, your point of view will change. ? It's actually quite easy to be grateful for a body that carries us through everything in life. Next time when you look at yourself in the mirror, say to yourself that your body is amazing. You can always learn to see yourself in a different way. ? ? In life I believe that our attitude and mind really influence many things. @lydiaslovingyou wrote: ”--And I know that the more I love it the better it becomes every single day.” I totally agree. ? Like me, many of you say that yoga has helped in loving your body. It's all about how you feel inside, not how you look on the outside and I recommend to try yoga. Many of you also wrote that you learn to love your body after surgeries and illnesses, after you survive an accident.. Only the point that we are alive is also a very good reason to love our body. ? ? I also love this answer: @jessicab2233”I love my body because of how wonderfully it responds to what I do. When I train, it gets stronger, when I eat well, it gets healthier, when I´m happy, it dances, when I´m sad, it can get hugged--” ? @nude_yogagirl "You are beautiful exactly the way you are." ?
Today I wanted to ask if you have any wishes or ideas on what you would like me to write about in my captions?! ? ? I love writing and I think it's a nice way to bring something more into this account... Even if I want to keep this account anonymous, you can get some kind of idea about what kind of person I am and everything is not just "covered". I enjoy reading your comments a lot and the experiences that you share with me. ? ? Today I don't have anything "deep" to say or anything in particular on my mind so I want to know if you have? If you have some thoughts feel free to share them with me and I will try to write about as many subjects as possible that you guys are going to suggest! ? Maybe my thoughts are already in NYC ? Only 10 days and I'm going make my first "Nude Yoga Girl" trip to New York!
I always try to keep in my mind that I must do things that I THINK I can't do. This is because we usually underestimate ourselves and our ability. We have the potential to do a lot of different things and that's why I want to learn as much as I can in my life. I want to understand and experience. ? Of course sometimes you can feel like your capacity reached the limit. It's a good thing to know when to give yourself a bit of space and just be without seeking to do something. ? But I want to remind you this: we can do so much more than what we think. Already now. We are able to perform incredible performances. We can affect things that feel impossible. We can survive when we feel like there is no way out.?
"Don't worry that your life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?" ? All the things in my life that I've been the most afraid of, have been the best ones in the end. For example moving abroad, travelling alone, changing job, applying and changing university, starting this account.. ? Something new is always a bit scary - at first. You can't really be sure where the change is going to take you. It can be a gamble, a jump into the unknow. When you step out of your comfort zone, it's more likely that you get something good in return than loose... ? ...You can be satisfied with yourself because you didn't just think but you did it. Your self-confidence grows because you see how much you actually are capable of doing. You learn new things and after trying many different things you can know better what really suits you the best. ? It requires courage, yes. But it's funny how we can overthink how difficult something new can be.. When you are outside of your "safe place", you will survive. You can do it. Better than you think. ? I remeber when I thought that I never ever could be a vegan. I thought it's too difficult, hard, one-sided, boring and tasteless. But in reality for me it was just something unfamiliar, strange and new. Back then I didn't know that a mostly plant based diet could suit me better. ?
I practice yoga mostly at home. I love my own peaceful and quiet moment. I have my own corner, where I have a mat and yoga equipments always ready. It's very easy to go and do even 5 sun solutations or a 5 min headstand practice. Late in the evening before I go to sleep, I love to light up a candle, breath deeply and calm down. Yin yoga is my favorite for relaxation. ? You don't have to invest a lot of money to do yoga. You don't have to live near a nice studio. You don't have to deticate hours daily for it because a short amount of time will be of massive benefit to you also. You don't need anything else than YOURSELF. And you don't have to be flexible, sporty or anything else than what you are. You can start just now. ? ? Where do you practice yoga? In company or alone??
#ANATOMY. You get situations in life when you screw up a bit. At least if you are a bit like me.? ? It can be dropping a tray, falling over on a stage, forgetting the price tag on your dress, telling a bad joke, failing to prepare a good dinner, forgetting something very important…etc. Those things aren´t that serious at all but sometimes we feel like they are. ? We can feal great shame, go under ground, criticize ourselves for hours and think that we would never do anything where we could fail like that again. Or we could just laugh and smile about it... ? Laughing and smiling can come and save us from the most embarrassing situations and turn them into fun instead. It can relax the group and bring the people even closer together. First and foremost, you feel much better yourself if you know to just laugh and smile when something doesn't really go as planned. ? In the past I didn’t know very well how to laugh at myself.. We take ourselves sometimes very seriously, don't we? ? It’s easy to be demanding and hard on yourself. But as yoga teaches us, we should be more kind towards ourselves. Life isn´t so serious.? ? It´s maybe cliche to say "the only people who never fail are those who never try" but that´s true. Failing is probably the most unnecessary word in the world. ? You screw up sometimes, so what? Nobody else is going to think about it again afterwards so much as you. It’s very human like not to always shine, succeed and be at your best. I just want to say that, we can't always succeed. We can still smile and be kind to ourselves. ?
This is one of my favorite poses. Usually we like different things. Someone likes a particular yoga pose or type of sport and someone else likes another one. We are different and that's important to remember when you start comparing yourself with others. ? Our anatomy, background and experiences for example affect what we are good at and what we like. There is no sense in pushing yourself to do a certain type of sport or yoga pose just because your friends like to do it. It's always good to try but the most important thing is to find something that YOU like. ? I'm sure that you can find it. And when you do find a type of sport that you like or even love, you will also become better at it. You will want to practice because it's very enjoyable. Not just because of the results... ? Don't give up on sports or yoga if you don't like them immediately. If you tried asthanga, maybe try Yin next. Or maybe a different teacher. If you don't like running try swimming. If you hate gym, try dancing... Etc. It's so wonderful to find a hobby that is "your thing". You have to search for it to find it. ? Have the courage to change your opinion. I had a time when I always said that I don't like running at all. We easily categorize ourselves to a certain type of person. "I don't like classes" "I want to train alone" "I hate competition" "I get bored during a calm class" "I'm a bad dancer".. ? But luckily I was ready to try running again and started to like it more and more, untill I wanted to run at least once a week a 1-1,5 hour route. So I don't say that running is not for me anymore... I mean to say that don't be afraid to try again something that you tried five years ago. Maybe the time is right now. ? When you are looking for a sport that you like, don't give up. When you find it (and you will) it makes you happy. Have you found yours??
This morning I went to the park before breakfast. Running and stretching outside felt so good. In winter time it's easier to stay inside at home but fresh air is very healthy! ? I always calm down in the middle of nature. I Love nature's voices and the scent of the trees. When your enviroment is peaceful and quiet, you hear your own voice. ? Nowadays if we are bored we usually spend time on our phones or internet and we spend less time without doing anything. ? My account is anonymous but if you want to know a bit more about me... @thecut / @nymag asked me a few questions. ? One of my answers below. Why did you want to create this account? I always try to find new ways to express myself. I'm very inspired by yoga and photography, so I wanted to bring the two of them together in a pure way. I also love to write and give people tips for healthier and happier lives. My biggest issue in the past was that I saw faults in my body all the time, and that made it impossible for me to love myself fully. The way you look doesn't matter — anybody can see faults and have that feeling of not liking themselves. With my account I want to inspire people to realize that everybody is very beautiful and capable of [doing] amazing things with their bodies. Yoga helped me accept my body exactly the way it is. Nowadays people can easily get a very false idea of ideal beauty and what nudity truly means because it's shown mostly in a sexual and unrealistic way. #yoga #yogi #nudeyogagirl #nudeyoga #yogapose #yogachallenge #yogaeverydamnday #yogalove #yogaeverywhere #yogini #art #yogagirl #instayoga #igyoga #artist #photographer #modeling #coreofgratitude #flexibility #blackandwhitephotography #blackandwhite #artsy #arts_help #artspiration
